Uplift Family Camp

Uplift Family Camp has been a hit two years in a row — first with our prototype in summer 2023 and then with our first official camp in summer 2024.

Here is some of what participants had to say:

  • “It was a wonderful stay, and one of the best weeks of summer. I really appreciate it. Also, INCREDIBLE food. Absolutely wonderful.” — Rowan (teen)
  • “Amanda is an amazing leader and you guys did an amazing job putting this event together. I want to do this every year!” — Quinn (kid)
  • “It was a beautiful, safe, fun, spiritual, and heart/mind opening experience.” — Vance (parent)
  • “Next time I will come for 10 days.” — Daisy (kid)
  • “The first thing my kids said when they got in the car to head home was, ‘Can we do this again next year?'” — Elizabeth (parent)

Lodging is at Scholls Valley Lodge, about 40 minutes outside of Portland, Oregon.

The whole place is breathtaking and restorative.

Activities include:

  • Lessons centered on the foundations in our approach
  • Structured and age-specific experiences for grownups, teens, tweens, and kids
  • Organized games (pickleball, spikeball, capture the flag, plastic axe throwing, card games, minute to win it, etc.)
  • Crafts for each age group
  • Free time
  • Campfires

Cost depends on family size and size of room. Pricing includes all food, lodging, and programming.

Stay tuned for 2025 details! We will be looking to get a solid group of teens (14-18), tweens (10-13), and kids (5-9) so that participants in each age group can connect and make friends. (We won’t have formal programming for kids four and under, but we might hire childcare for a few hours each day as needed.)

If we have an abundance of signups, we might do a day camp in addition to the summer camp and/or host more than one summer camp next year!
