What is a word, phrase, or quote that is meaningful to you?
If you’d like to learn a new wisdom saying, read through these and notice which one gets your attention.
“Rivers know this: There is no hurry. We shall get there some day.” —Winnie the Pooh
“Hatred does not cease by hatred.” — The Dhammapada (Buddhism)
“Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.” — Martin Luther King Jr.
“And still I rise.”— Maya Angelou
“Just keep swimming.” — Finding Nemo
These are other optional activities you could do with the wisdom sayings:
- Toss a ball against a wall and repeat a phrase
- Draw what the words inspire in you
- Memorize a quote or phrase.
- Think about a question or concern you have while you read.
