“Why can’t my child concentrate?” might be rephrased “Where can my child concentrate?”
— Fred Rogers

An alternative: "Why can't I concentrate?" might be rephrased "Where can I concentrate?"

THIS WEEK’S LESSON

Strengths

Today’s Excerpt: Family Strengths Game
Adapted from Via Character

Pretend you’re on a deserted island and can only use your strengths to survive.

You have a knife, flint and steel, a bow and arrow, and water bottles. The island has coconuts, wildlife, a range of plants, etc.

List each person’s strengths and pretend you have to survive for three days until help arrives. What tasks will each person take on?

Note that you can also explore these same dynamics in a role-playing game like Dungeons and Dragons.
