Pick one sentence starter below and practice how you might use it at home:
Home:
- “Can I have a 30-minute break before I start…?”
- “I felt hurt when you…”
- “I feel overwhelmed by everything I have to do. What is one thing I should start with?”
- “It feels unfair when…”
- “Will you show me how?”
- “I’m not sure what I need right now. Can you please talk with me?”
