Do things for people not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are.”

THIS WEEK’S LESSON
Kindness

A Story of Friendship
When a first grader named Zac was diagnosed with a type of cancer called leukemia, he kept going to school everyday to be with his friend, Vincent.
When Vincent learned that Zac had cancer he wanted to help, so he learned how to knit and made over 20 scarves to sell to help pay for Zac’s expensive cancer treatments. When Zac started losing his hair because of the leukemia treatment, Vincent had an idea to show kindness and love. Vincent shaved his head so Zac wasn’t the only one at school without hair.
