Does anything prevent you from exercising?
What are some simple things you might do to anticipate stuff getting in your way?
Ideas might include:
- Habit stacking, which is when you tie the habit you want to start with another habit you already do. (For example, you might do 25 jumping jacks right after you brush your teeth each morning.)
- Setting out your running shoes so they’re easy to get on
- Getting enough sleep
- Doing the thing you actually want to do, even if it’s not the single “best” exercise
- Finding a friend who will do the exercise with you — such as going on a bike ride together!
