“What I do not know I do not think I know.”
— Socrates

Today’s Excerpt:

Have you ever been wrong about something?

When you’re wrong about something and don’t realize it, you feel like you are right.

So, how do you discover what is true and what is false?

One way is to ask yourself questions. You might ask:

  • How do I know this is true? Where did I learn it?
  • Do I really think or feel this way, or am I just copying what’s popular? Am I afraid to be different?
  • Does anyone else see things differently than I do? If so, what is their best reason?
